9. Sikkim has become the only state in the country to achieve more than 100 per cent sanitation in rural and urban households, schools, sanitary complexes and Aanganwadi centres.

10. Italian Valentina Cipriani defeated compatriot Alice Volpi 15-12 to win the final of the Women’s Foil World Cup.
