1. World Bank ranks India as the 10th largest economy in the world in terms of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The top nine countries are: US, China, Japan, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Brazil, Russia and Italy respectively. However, we still remain the poorest country of the G20 with per capita income at meagre $1,499 compared to China’s $6,807.

Zohra Sehgal, the Grand Old Lady of Indian Cinema, breathes her last at 102. he veteran actress and dancer is one of the few laureates who have bagged all the three Padma Awards: Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan. This will provide a common platform for film producers on both sides to collaborate on various aspects of media production. Indians are the third largest migrants group in Canada currently amounting to one million.
